Ms. Grace had always been a tough teacher, but her attitude towards Claire's death was particularly harsh. She had a history of being strict and demanding, but she had always been fair. However, after a student had been caught cheating on a test, Ms. Grace had lost her temper and thrown the student out of the class. The student had been expelled, and Ms. Grace had felt justified in her actions. She believed that the school needed to be tougher on its students, and that anyone who couldn't handle the pressure shouldn't be there. Claire's death had only reinforced her beliefs, and she saw it as a warning to the other students to shape up or face the same fate.
